English Teacher Training in Granada
Learn how to become an English teacher in a month by taking our Trinity Cert TESOL course in Granada, one of the most beautiful cities in Spain.
It is a 130-hour accredited course with a minimum of 6hrs of observed teaching practice.
The course is run by experienced and highly-qualified teacher trainers in a modern language academy in the heart of the city.
Not only do we provide a dynamic, practical and affordable training programme, but we also include a dedicated job guidance service to help you find work as soon as you complete the course.
Who can enrol on the course?
You certainly don’t need to be a native speaker of English. Teachers who speak English as a second language often make better teachers.
You do need any teaching experience to enrol in the course. Nor do we require you to speak a second language. You certainly don’t need a Linguistics degree!
We believe that a positive attitude, good social skills, and a willingness to step outside of your comfort zone for 4 weeks are the keys to being successful on our course.
We do not believe that a specific type of person makes a great teacher of English as a foreign, second or other language. We want you to develop a teaching style which suits your personality.
We do require trainee teachers to meet the following entry requirements though:
- Are you 18 or over?
- Do you have a degree / suitable qualifications to enrol in higher education and/or work experience?
- Are you a competent and fluent speaker and writer of English?
- Are you willing to work as a member of a training group and receive and give support to your fellow trainees?
- Are you able to respond positively to constructive feedback and use it to improve your teaching performance?
- Are you interested in learning and teaching?
- Are you able and willing to work hard and manage your time well?
- Are you able to and willing to learn new skills?
Our course is accredited by Trinity TESOL – an OFQUAL-approved training organisation based in the UK. This means our course is recognised as a Level 5 qualification and enables you to find work in the UK, Europe and around the world.
Unlike many TEFL courses, we work with small groups of trainee teachers and guarantee you lots of observed teaching practice and personalised support and guidance.
Our trainers are passionate professionals, with advanced teaching qualifications (Diploma DELTA / Dip TESOL / MA in Applied Linguistics and English Language Teaching) and lots of experience in the English language teaching sector, not only in Spain but all around the world.
There is a huge demand for qualified EFL / ESOL teachers in Spain, Latin America and all around the world. At Teach English Spain, we help you find teaching work so you can start earning as soon as you qualify.

|1.Teaching Skills||The best way to learn a new skill is through practice and feedback. On our course, you will plan and give 6hrs of lessons to real students and get useful feedback from your experienced trainers. By the end of the course, you’ll be ready to teach in any classroom around the world.|
|2.Language Awareness||Being able to speak English perfectly doesn’t mean you can explain how English works to your students. Learn about grammar, lexis and phonology and, most importantly, how to help your students learn about the English language.|
|3.Learner Profile||The best teachers understand the needs of their learners. Learn how to work with individual students, assess their English skills, analyse their needs, and create a personalised learning experience that they’ll love.|
|4.Materials Assignment||Teaching is much more than following a course book. Learn how to adapt published materials and create your own.|
|5.Unknown Language||Teachers need to put themselves in their learner’s shoes. By becoming a language student again, you will gain a deeper awareness of their needs.|
